Antarctica is the most remote destination on the planet. An abundance of wildlife encompasses the frozen continent making it a haven for these polar specialists. Humpback whales in sheer numbers feeding on swarms of krill. Thousands of penguins establish colonies along the rugged coastline and leopard seals hunt for prey in the shallows. In February, we set off to the deep south to bare witness to some of natures great events. Orca's hunting along the pack ice, Humpbacks bubblenet feeding in the nutrient rich waters and leopard seals stalking fledging penguin chicks that immerse themselves in the frozen ocean for the first time.
This will be the expedition of a lifetime with opportunities to get in the water as well as explore the wilderness landscape.
Antarctic is a photographer's paradise.
