Join us in Broome to experience the deep red earth, lush green mangroves, milky-blue ocean, and long sandy beaches that dominate the landscape. In Roebuck Bay we will see the massive expanses of mud-flats that are teeming with shorebirds, crabs, and a very charismatic fish, the mudskipper. We also venture out to some birding hotspots to photograph some of the most diverse range of birds in the region. This workshop will focus on the multitude of birds and other wildlife. The landscapes are dramatic and full of vivid colours. Our flights over the coastline will allow for some aerial photography of Australia’s Kimberley coast.

Scott has spent a several years photographing the Mountain Gorilla’s in Rwanda, Uganda and the Congo and has an affinity with these amazing primates. His continued work to highlight the environmental issues in these regions and document the ongoing plight of climate change and human impacts on inhabitants of these regions is a key aspect of his work and various accolades.

During this expedition, Scott will share his behavioural understanding of wildlife and his photographic knowledge to help you capture those intimate moments with these unique creatures.
