Join us for this 7 day/6 night workshop as we fly over the network of rivers, estuaries, creeks, mudflats and wetlands of the Gulf of Carpentaria. This remote area in tropical Queensland offers some of the best opportunities in Australia to see this unique landscape. The wildlife is abundant with a range of marsupials, birds, frogs and reptiles regularly sighted across the expanse of wetlands.

Scott Portelli has spent thousands of hours in remote locations across the globe filming and photographing nature, wildlife, the underwater environment and wild places.

Scott has spent a several years photographing the Mountain Gorilla’s in Rwanda, Uganda and the Congo and has an affinity with these amazing primates. His continued work to highlight the environmental issues in these regions and document the ongoing plight of climate change and human impacts on inhabitants of these regions is a key aspect of his work and various accolades.

During this expedition, Scott will share his behavioural understanding of wildlife and his photographic knowledge to help you capture those intimate moments with these unique creatures.
